Marrakech → Essaouira
Embark on a Private Day Trip From Marrakech To Essaouira and depart at 08h00 AM. Travel through the Houaz Plains to the village of Sidi Lmokhtar in the west of Marrakech. You will have a coffee break and proceed through the unique Argan trees forest in this area. You will see goats climbing trees looking for Argan nuts, a rare and amazing sight to witness. You can visit a local cooperative that produces Argan oil before heading to Val d’Argan, a vineyard founded by a French wine expert. If you wish, you can taste some wine before continuing to Essaouira.
When you arrive, you will meet your local guide, who will take you to the city. You will explore the Medina, the Mellah (old Jewish quarter), the Kasbah (old military bastion), and the fishermen’s port. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you will have the freedom to enjoy the city, with its lovely beaches and calm atmosphere; savor a cup of coffee or mint tea at the famous Place Moulay Elhassan while listening to ambient Gnawa music. After that, your driver will bring you back to Marrakech. Your Marrakech to Essaouira day trip will finish around 18h00, as your driver will drop you off at your hotel or riad.
